Dynamic organization that assist local businesses in City of Los Angeles, Metro Area, Harbor Area and West Los Angeles is looking to hire (10) Outside Business Development/Field Sales Rep's.

KEY POINTS:
-Must have reliable means of transportation as role will require driving
-Will need to pass a background check & provide a copy of driver license, and proof of insurance upon receiving a conditional offer
-Hybird role and the company will provide a 0.67 mileage reimbursement for the driving component
-Parking will be provided when the candidate goes into the office once or twice a week

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Inform and educate: Inform and educate Los Angeles at risk businesses of no-cost business assistance services to remain and grow in L.A. County
•In-person consultations: Conduct in-person consultations with at risk businesses of no-cost business assistance services to remain and grow in L.A. County
•Layoff Aversion: Prevent the lay-off and retain jobs directly related to business consultation services
•Testimonials: Secure testimonials from businesses served; pictures of business and CEO/staff, writing narrative and making ready for web-posting
•Provides strategic technical business assistance, including attraction, retention, expansion, job growth and layoff aversion assistance to companies
•Market and promote Los Angeles County in the specific region through outreach to targeted key industries and businesses through monthly business visits and in-person consultations and presentations
•Assess needs of “at risk” businesses, develop an action plan of resources and enroll business in an appropriate program to help sustain companies and reduce the loss of businesses and jobs in the region
•Develop and manage a pipeline of projects in the region for business attraction, retention and expansion to ensure annual goals and contract Scope of Work (SOW) requirements are met
•Provide Customer Satisfaction Survey from business clients participating in business assistance or layoff aversion services, earning a favorable customer satisfaction rate
•Develop and maintain professional relationships with established economic and workforce development partners, regulatory agencies and local government within the region
•Deliver presentations on business assistance, layoff aversion and targeted industry services and represent the company at regional events
•Provide compliance level reporting on business attraction, retention, expansion, and grant contracts
•Oversight for resources and projects, including workflow to accomplish objectives, and fostering a team environment for collaboration and a culture of professional performance

QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor or Associate Degree or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
•Knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Internet software and Contact Management systems
