Job Description
In this role candidate will sell EC fans and air-moving solutions to HVACR OEMs, system integrators, and equipment manufacturers. Meet with customer engineering and sourcing teams to present products, gather requirements, and drive design-ins from concept through mass production. Work closely with Asia-based R&D, engineering, and manufacturing teams to manage projects, schedules, samples, and builds.

Responsibilities
Prospect and qualify new HVAC OEM and system integrator opportunities
Build long-term customer relationships through onsite visits and industry events
Present EC fan solutions and capture technical/application requirements
Convert requirements into proposals, quotes, and validation/sample plans
Manage RFIs/RFQs, NDAs, onboarding, and design-in progress from concept through production
Coordinate daily with Asia-based R&D and manufacturing teams
Track samples, shipments, POs, and issue resolution
Maintain accurate CRM data, forecasts, and pipeline updates
Follow up after delivery to verify performance and resolve integration issues
Provide first-line commercial and application support
Monitor market trends, customer roadmaps, and competitive activity
Share customer insights to support product planning and pricing strategy
Stay current on airflow/pressure, acoustics, EC motors, and system integration
Manage a territory covering the Central/Eastern U.S. and Canada

Experience
5+ years in HVAC, EC fans, motors, or air-moving products (BD or technical sales)
Based in Central/Eastern U.S.; travel 25–40%
Experience selling to HVAC OEMs or ventilation equipment manufacturers
Familiarity with RFI/RFQ, qualification testing, pilot builds, and production ramps
Strong CRM discipline and forecasting accuracy
Comfortable working across time zones with Asia teams
Able to explain core HVAC air-moving concepts clearly

Preferred Experience
Proven design-in wins for EC fans or air-moving solutions
Hands-on HVAC application experience (air handlers, condensers, heat pumps, etc.)
Knowledge of BLDC control, PWM/analog signals, and electrical integration
Track record from first meeting to revenue-generating production
Experience with NRE, tooling, LTAs, and cost-down discussions
Success working with global R&D/manufacturing teams
Mandarin/English bilingual a plus
