Job Summary

A growing distributor in the electronic and industrial manufacturing supplies industry is seeking a bilingual Spanish/English Business Development Manager for a contract/temporary opportunity in Gardena, CA. This role is ideal for a motivated B2B sales professional who enjoys outbound prospecting, building relationships with industrial customers, and helping manufacturing and maintenance organizations source the products they need to keep operations running efficiently.

The Business Development Manager will focus on developing new business opportunities across the United States and Mexico by engaging purchasing managers, procurement teams, plant managers, operations leaders, and other key decision-makers. This opportunity offers exposure to a stable industrial customer base, a collaborative sales and operations environment, and the chance to contribute directly to recurring revenue growth.

Candidates can expect a supportive team setting with close collaboration across inside sales, account management, and operations. The role is well suited for someone who is proactive, organized, comfortable with high-volume outreach, and interested in building a long-term career path in industrial distribution, MRO sales, electronic components, or manufacturing supply solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting through cold calls, email outreach, follow-up campaigns, and targeted sales activities.
- Identify, engage, and qualify decision-makers at manufacturing facilities, maintenance organizations, and industrial companies.
- Promote electronic and industrial supplies, including MRO products, tooling, safety equipment, consumables, and related solutions.
- Generate meetings, quote opportunities, trial orders, and qualified leads for the sales team.
- Maintain accurate prospect, activity, and pipeline information in CRM systems.
- Partner with inside sales, account management, and operations teams to support customer onboarding and order fulfillment.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $30 to $35 per hour, depending on experience.
- Job Type: Contract/Temporary.
- Location: Gardena, CA 90248.
- Work Arrangement: Transitioning to fully remote by end of year.
- Travel: Approximately 5 percent for client visits.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Drive outbound B2B prospecting efforts targeting manufacturing, maintenance, procurement, and operations contacts.
- Qualify prospects, identify purchasing needs, and create opportunities for recurring business.
- Manage CRM activity, sales follow-up, pipeline updates, and customer communication.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to support a seamless customer experience.

- Bilingual in Spanish and English, written and verbal.
- 1 to 3 years of B2B sales, inside sales, business development, distribution, or related experience.
- Comfortable making outbound cold calls to factories, manufacturing facilities, and industrial organizations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with procurement managers, purchasing managers, plant managers, operations leaders, and technical or non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as NetSuite, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of outreach activity.
- Ability to quickly learn industrial products, applications, customer needs, and solution-based selling strategies.
- Self-motivated, proactive, goal-oriented, and able to build long-term customer relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in manufacturing, industrial distribution, MRO, electronic components, tooling, safety equipment, consumables, or related industrial supply environments.
- Familiarity with aerospace, automotive, manufacturing, industrial maintenance, or cross-border U.S. and Mexico sales markets.
- Prior success generating quote opportunities, trial orders, or recurring revenue through outbound prospecting.
