Location: Sanford, FL 32773 (100% On-Site)

Salary: $70,000 – $100,000 Base + Commission (DOE)

About the Company
Our client has assembled an extensive offering of concrete products and services, delivering high-quality precast concrete, masonry, and construction solutions across commercial markets. They are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Business Development Associate to expand market share and drive new business growth throughout Central Florida.
Position Summary
The Business Development Associate is responsible for generating new business, cultivating influential industry relationships, and exceeding sales goals across a diverse portfolio of precast concrete and construction services. This role is ideal for a highly motivated sales professional with established relationships in the commercial construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
Close new business and drive measurable market share growth
Prospect, identify, and qualify new opportunities within assigned territory
Develop and maintain strong relationships with:
General Contractors (primary focus)
Architects
Structural Engineers
Building-shell contractors
Increase product specifications, advocacy, and contract wins
Manage pipeline and project lifecycle using Salesforce CRM
Analyze market trends and develop strategic action plans
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations
Obtain and review construction plans and specifications
Own external project engagement and coordinate internal collaboration
Participate in trade associations and industry events
Maintain organized prospecting calendar and call schedules
Promote and represent the full portfolio of products and services
Travel within territory as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/training
3+ years of experience in the construction industry preferred
Existing relationships with General Contractors in: Hotel, Hospital, Multifamily, Commercial construction sectors
Strong sales aptitude and ability to close
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and project specifications
Exceptional presentation and communication skills
Strong time management and organizational abilities
Proficiency in:
Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Adobe Acrobat
Salesforce CRM
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Willingness to travel within territory
