Brand Events Manager – Experiential Strategy (Remote – NY or SF/Bay Area)

We are seeking a Brand Events Manager with a strong strategic marketing mindset, not a traditional event producer. This role is focused on how events drive brand perception, audience engagement, and measurable business outcomes, with ownership of strategy from planning through execution.

This is an opportunity for someone who has led high-impact consumer or industry events and understands how to translate business objectives into intentional, data-informed event experiences.

This role is best suited for professionals from brand marketing, experiential marketing, or integrated marketing teams within consumer-facing organizations.

What You’ll Do

Event Strategy & Attendee Experience

Define the overall event strategy aligned to brand and business objectives
Design the attendee journey from invitation through post-event engagement
Partner with creative and agency teams to ensure execution aligns with strategic vision
Shape event environments, guest flow, and experience touchpoints to drive engagement

Registration & Event Marketing

Own event registration platforms (e.g., Swoogo, Cvent, or similar)
Manage RSVP strategy, audience segmentation, and attendance forecasting
Partner with marketing teams to execute event promotion and drive registrations
Use data and insights to optimize conversion, attendance, and capacity planning

Onsite Experience & Operations (Strategic Oversight)

Oversee onsite execution including guest experience, logistics alignment, and hospitality
Ensure all operational elements support the intended brand experience
Partner cross-functionally with internal teams and agency partners for execution support

Planning, Reporting & Optimization

Conduct post-event analysis and performance reporting
Translate insights into recommendations for future event strategy
Stay informed on industry trends and competitive event experiences
Partner with compliance/legal teams where applicable for approvals and governance

What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in event strategy, experiential marketing, or brand marketing
Experience leading flagship or high-visibility consumer or industry events
Strong understanding of registration platforms (Swoogo, Cvent, or similar)
Experience using RSVP data to inform attendance forecasting and operational decisions
Proven ability to design and execute end-to-end attendee journeys
Experience partnering with creative teams, marketing teams, and external agencies
Strong cross-functional leadership experience with executive visibility
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments
Ability to translate business objectives into measurable event outcomes
