Branch Operations Supervisor – International Logistics
Are you a natural leader with a strong background in international freight forwarding? We’re seeking a Branch Operations Supervisor to help drive operational excellence, team performance, and business growth at a key logistics hub.
This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment and is ready to take ownership of both strategy and execution.
?? What You’ll Do:
Supervise and support Operations Managers and departmental leads
Assist in developing and implementing branch-level policies and procedures
Oversee rate negotiations with carriers to ensure competitive pricing
Provide guidance on import/export regulations and compliance
Collaborate with customs brokers and internal teams to ensure documentation accuracy
Troubleshoot shipment issues and implement corrective actions
Support branch sales efforts and contribute to market growth
Participate in hiring, training, and performance management of staff
Ensure adherence to safety, security, and operational standards
Contribute to financial oversight and branch profitability
? What You Bring:
5+ years of experience in international freight forwarding
2+ years working with Dangerous Goods (DG) freight
2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience
Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Strong understanding of sales techniques and customer engagement
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and related tools
