Growing Financial Institution seeks a **Deposit and Payments Operations Officer** to lead and manage our deposit and payment processing functions. "Key Responsibilities Include"
**Deposit Operations**
- Oversee daily processing of deposit accounts (checking, savings, time deposits).
- Ensure accurate transaction posting and resolve exceptions or disputes.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Support cross-functional initiatives and scale operations as the bank grows.

**Payments Operations**
- Manage domestic and international wires, ACH (RDFI/ODFI), checks, and card transactions.
- Ensure compliance with NACHA, Fedwire, and other payment standards.

**Regulatory Compliance**
- Ensure adherence to NACHA, Reg E, UCC Article 4A, BSA/AML, and KYC regulations.
- Maintain documentation for audits and regulatory reporting.
- Support internal and external audit processes.

**Customer Service & Support**
- Provide technical guidance on ACH, wires, checks, and card transactions.
- Collaborate with finance, compliance, and treasury teams to resolve issues.

**Reporting & Reconciliation**
- Prepare regular reports on deposit and payment activities.

**System Management**
- Maintain and enhance payment systems and platforms.
- Support system upgrades and evaluate new technologies.

**Education & Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–5 years of banking operations experience, with a focus on payments.

**Skills & Knowledge**
- Expertise in ACH, wire transfers (Fedwire/SWIFT), check processing, and card networks.
- Strong understanding of payment regulations and compliance.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in core banking systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

**Preferred**
- NACHA Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) or National Check Professional (NCP) certification.
- Experience with Fedwire, SWIFT, or prop
