Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily branch operations to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant transaction processing and customer service delivery.
- Support branch leadership in achieving operational, service, compliance, risk management, and financial performance goals.
- Monitor branch controls, cash operations, balancing procedures, vault management, audits, and internal review readiness.
- Coach, mentor, and support branch employees to maintain strong performance, service standards, and operational accuracy.
- Resolve escalated customer concerns professionally while identifying effective solutions and relationship-building opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal business partners to improve processes, enhance customer experiences, and support branch growth.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Manage daily retail banking branch operations, including transaction processing, service delivery, and operational controls.
- Support audit preparation, regulatory compliance, risk management, and corrective action processes.
- Lead, coach, and develop branch staff to meet service, operational, and performance expectations.
- Manage cash handling, balancing procedures, vault controls, and approval of operational transactions within assigned authority.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of banking experience with progressive operational responsibilities.
- Strong understanding of branch operations, deposit products, banking policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience with cash handling, audits, internal controls, operational risk, and branch security standards.
- Proficiency with banking systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication, leadership, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, organizational ability, and commitment to service excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous supervisory, team lead, or branch operations leadership experience.
- Knowledge of consumer banking, business banking, and relationship-based financial products and services.
- Experience supporting branch sales, customer relationship-building, and referral initiatives.
- Familiarity with branch performance metrics, operational reporting, audits, and regulatory examinations.
