We are seeking a results-driven Branch Manager to lead all aspects of a full-service bank branch. This role oversees daily operations, customer service, sales strategies, staff management, and regulatory compliance, ensuring a high-performing team and exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development:
• Hire, coach, and mentor branch staff to meet performance and service standards
• Conduct monthly 1-on-1s and annual performance reviews
• Address performance issues and ensure appropriate staffing levels
Branch Operations:
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and banking regulations
• Oversee audits, certifications, approvals, and daily branch operations
• Manage branch profitability, cost control, and reporting
Client Service & Retention:
• Lead by example in delivering superior customer service
• Resolve client issues promptly and professionally
• Promote a positive, welcoming customer environment
Sales & Business Development:
• Develop and execute strategies to grow deposits and new accounts
• Coach staff on relationship building and product knowledge
• Partner with internal teams for cross-selling opportunities
• Refer small business credit needs to loan officers
Community Involvement:
• Represent the bank in local organizations and community events
• Complete at least 10 CRA volunteer hours annually
Qualifications:
• 7+ years banking experience; 5+ years in branch management
• Proven success in sales leadership and branch growth
• Strong knowledge of consumer and complex business accounts
• Effective communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
• Proficient in MS Office and banking software
• Notary Public preferred
• Valid CA driver’s license and reliable transportation required
