About the Role
We are seeking two experienced Brake Press Operators to join a dynamic fabrication team. This position requires a strong technical background and a commitment to safety and precision.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain press brake machines safely and efficiently.
Interpret technical drawings and ensure proper tolerances and specifications.
Perform accurate measurements using tools such as tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and angle gauges.
Work with various materials and understand their properties.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
Must-Have Qualifications
Strong foundation in safety practices.
Deep knowledge of press brake machines and fabrication processes.
Understanding of machine operation, maintenance routines, control systems (manual, CNC, or hybrid), and load limits.
Familiarity with punches, dies, and measurement tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with machine setup, programming, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of bending methods (air bending, bottom bending, coining).
Familiarity with 5S and Lean manufacturing principles.
