Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Brake Press Operators for multiple direct hire openings in Santa Ana, CA.
This growing operation is ramping up production due to high customer demand and offers steady 1st shift and 2nd shift work, overtime opportunities, and a team-oriented shop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate brake press equipment to bend, form, and fabricate metal parts according to job specifications.
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, drawings, measurements, and production instructions.
- Perform accurate measurements and quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications and tolerances.
- Adjust machine settings, tooling, and materials as needed to support efficient production.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following all safety and production procedures.
- Work independently to meet production schedules, quality standards, and daily output expectations.
Compensation and Benefits
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Pay: $22 to $38 per hour, depending on experience.
- Location: Santa Ana, CA.
- Overtime may include starting at 4:00 AM, staying later, and working Saturdays as needed.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Operate brake press machinery in a production or fabrication environment.
- Set up jobs, make machine adjustments, and run parts to specification.
- Read blueprints, verify dimensions, and complete quality checks.
- Support production deadlines while maintaining safety and accuracy.
- Strong recent brake press operating experience is required.
- Must be able to work independently and hit the ground running with minimal training.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant manufacturing or fabrication experience is preferred.
- Must meet ITAR requirements as a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and good work ethic are required.
- Ability to work overtime as needed, including early starts, later shifts, and Saturdays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual English and Spanish is highly preferred.
- Recent experience in a high-volume manufacturing, sheet metal, fabrication, or production environment is preferred.
- Experience working in a fast-paced shop where quality, accuracy, and efficiency are critical is a plus.
