Job Summary
A stable manufacturing company in Santa Ana, CA is seeking an experienced Brake Press Operator for a direct hire opportunity. Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate press brake machinery according to production requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work instructions, and job specifications.
- Verify dimensions and perform quality checks throughout the production process.
- Use precision measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers, to confirm part accuracy.
- Adjust machine settings as needed to meet quality and productivity standards.
- Troubleshoot equipment or production issues while maintaining a safe and organized work area.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $23 to $30 per hour, depending on experience.
- Employment Type: Direct Hire.
- Location: Santa Ana, CA 92705.
- Shift: 1st Shift, Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM; 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM–10:30 PM.
- Overtime may be required based on production needs.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- 3 to 5 years of relevant manufacturing, machine operating, or brake press experience preferred.
- Previous Brake Press Operator or related machine operation experience required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production work instructions.
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain an organized work area.
- Manufacturing or metal fabrication experience preferred.
- Ability to work overtime when needed.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must meet ITAR requirements, including U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in metal fabrication or sheet metal manufacturing.
- Experience working in a quality-focused production environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to make accurate machine adjustments.
- Proven reliability, teamwork, and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
