Position Summary
The client manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Accountant to support general ledger bookkeeping activities. This hybrid role is based in Irving, TX and is ideal for a professional who can step in quickly and assist with day-to-day bookkeeping functions in a manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

Perform general ledger bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records
Record journal entries and assist with month-end close
Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts
Prepare routine financial reports and schedules
Support audits and internal accounting reviews
Ensure records comply with company policies and accounting standards
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies

Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Finance preferred
Prior general ledger bookkeeping experience required
Manufacturing or industry experience a plus
Proficiency in Excel and accounting/bookkeeping software
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
