Accounting Specialist / Bookkeeper
Location: near Downey, CA
Pay: $25–$27 per hour

About the Role
Our client near the Downey area is seeking a dependable Accounting Specialist/Bookkeeper who can step in and support day-to-day accounting functions across several entities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a collaborative environment and takes pride in accurate, organized accounting work.
Key Responsibilities

Perform general ledger maintenance for multiple entities
Prepare and complete account reconciliations
Assist with month-end close activities
Process and review AP/AR transactions
Maintain accurate financial records and help streamline accounting processes
Collaborate with the team to support ongoing accounting needs

Qualifications

2–4+ years of general accounting or bookkeeping experience
Strong understanding of general ledger and reconciliations
Experience with Sage 100 is highly preferred
Stable, consistent work history
Proficiency in Excel and general accounting software
Team player with excellent communication and organizational skills
