Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented In-House Bookkeeper to support financial operations on a part-time basis. This role will oversee bookkeeping functions across QuickBooks Online, payroll, tax compliance, inventory tracking, and legal-related accounting. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, compliance-focused, and able to maintain accurate, audit-ready financial records while supporting both operational and accounting needs.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records and reporting in QuickBooks Online
Prepare monthly financial statements and complete account reconciliations
Manage federal, state, and sales tax filings to ensure compliance
Process payroll, including W-2s and 1099 filings
Track and manage inventory accounting and cost of goods sold (COGS)
Support accounting related to legal services, contracts, and compliance requirements
Ensure financial compliance and maintain audit-ready documentation
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and workflows
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online
Experience with payroll processing, tax filings, and inventory accounting
Familiarity with legal or compliance-based accounting
Strong understanding of GAAP principles

Experience with eCommerce or product-based businesses
