Bookkeeper - General Ledger Accounting

Looking for a stable career with flexibility and excellent benefits? We’re looking for a skilled Bookkeeper with expertise in General Ledger Accounting for one of our best clients. This role offers long-term stability, a supportive team, and a hybrid schedule once training is complete.

Must-Haves (Read Before Applying):
- Hands-on experience in General Ledger bookkeeping and reconciliations
- Advanced knowledge of accrual and fund basis accounting
- Ability to prepare and interpret financial reports in accordance with GAAP
- Degree in Accounting preferred (or equivalent professional experience)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

What You’ll Do:
- Conduct monthly reviews and reconciliations of the general ledger
- Reconcile Accounts Receivable and Payable to the general ledger
- Manage and reconcile all bank accounts and funds
- Prepare and post accurate journal entries
- Develop consolidated fund balance sheets and revenue/expense statements
- Provide clear communication of financial reports to internal teams and associations
- Maintain precise records and assist with the annual audit
- Support Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Project Management teams as needed
