We are looking for a full-charge bookkeeper, essentially the “doer.” In office work, no telecommuting - this is in-office 100%. Family-run construction company primarily involved in municipal/federal water/wastewater construction. Approximately 100 employees and typically self-perform most facets of construction, with our primary emphasis on conveyance.

Company Description
General engineering company with licenses specialized in federal, municipal, and government construction.
Role Description
· Performing various accounting tasks as directed.
· Ensure accuracy and integrity of general ledger.
· Support month end and year end closing functions.
· Provide support for A/R and A/P functions.
· Preparing journal entries, bank reconciliations, spreadsheets.
Qualifications
· Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
· Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
· Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field.
· Experience in the construction industry is required
· Experience in Sage accounting software is a plus.
· Must be a team player and help where needed.
· Must have valid driver’s license, be able to pass background check and drug test.
· Must provide professional references.
Compensation Package
· $75,000 - $95,000 annual compensation, Additional Qualifications or Experience in excess of the requirements can yield additional salary.
