We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to support daily accounting operations with a focus on payroll for a construction company. This role requires strong knowledge of QuickBooks and payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities:
-Process weekly/bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
-Maintain employee records, timecards, deductions, and benefits in QuickBooks.
-Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor invoices, subcontractor payments, and client billing.
-Perform bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
-Track job costs, expenses, and budgets to support project managers and leadership.
-Prepare financial reports, including profit/loss statements and balance sheets.
-Assist with compliance reporting, audits, and year-end tax preparation.
-Maintain organized records for all financial transactions.

Qualifications:
-Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in construction or a related industry.
-Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop or Online) and Microsoft Excel.
-Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax filings, and labor compliance.
-Knowledge of construction accounting, job costing, and lien releases a plus.
-Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
-Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with project managers, vendors, and staff.
