Key Responsibilities: Preferred
Maintain and update general ledger and financial records
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly
Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries
Manage payroll and employee expense reports, if applicable
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
Assist with budgeting and forecasting
Support external audits and provide required documentation
Track fixed assets and depreciation schedules
Perform month-end and year-end close processes
Use accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) for daily bookkeeping tasks
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a bookkeeper, accountant, or similar role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Certification such as QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor or similar
Knowledge of tax regulations and payroll processes
