We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the financial health and compliance of the organization. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update general ledger and financial records Process accounts payable and accounts receivable Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries Manage payroll and employee expense reports, if applicable Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies Assist with budgeting and forecasting Support external audits and provide required documentation Track fixed assets and depreciation schedules Perform month-end and year-end close processes Use accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) for daily bookkeeping tasks Qualifications: Proven experience as a bookkeeper, accountant, or similar role Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Certification such as QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor or similar Knowledge of tax regulations and payroll processes Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications Professional development support, including training and mentorship Opportunities for career growth within a prestigious and expanding organization
