Job Title: Bookkeeper
Pay:$25–$30 per hour
Job Summary:
AppleOne Employment Services is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to support one of our valued clients. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting functions, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
* Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
* Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
* Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end close
* Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and procedures
* Assist with payroll processing and tax documentation as needed
* Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (e.g., accountants, auditors)
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred)
* 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Knowledge of basic accounting principles
* Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity
