We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper in Southern Pines, NC looking to expand its finance team.
Position: Bookkeeper
Location: Southern Pines, NC
Employment Type:Temp to Hire
Pay Range: $17/hr - $20/hr
Key Responsibilities:
Handle full-cycle bookkeeping, including A/P and A/R
Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Process payroll and manage employee deductions
Prepare and file sales tax returns
Maintain accurate records and produce financial reports
Assist in year-end closing and audits
Requirements:
4+ years of bookkeeping experience
Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.)
Strong grasp of accounting principles and GAAP
High attention to detail and accuracy
Solid organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
