Opportunity to grow into a higher-level Accounting role

Are you highly detail-oriented, Excel-savvy, and passionate about uncovering discrepancies in billing or spreadsheets? A family-owned business is looking for a reliable and analytical Bookkeeper to join their team.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong AR/AP background who enjoys diving into data, correcting errors, and ensuring billing accuracy. If you're ready to join a stable company with room to grow, this could be a great fit for you.

What You'll Be Doing:

Audit and correct weekly billing spreadsheets and invoices
Reconcile discrepancies and ensure accurate billing across multiple documents
Enter and analyze data using Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Insert Rows, Auto Sum, etc.)
Perform A/R functions: post payments, calculate debts, and apply credit memos
Handle A/P tasks: bill hours worked, update billing spreadsheets, and generate invoices
Conduct spreadsheet-based reviews to catch and resolve billing errors
Support accounting functions with a strong focus on accuracy and process improvement

What We're Looking For:

Previous AR/AP experience required—you know how to balance books, track payments, and spot errors
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills—you’re confident with formulas, tables, and organizing complex data
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with accounting software is highly preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Reliable, punctual, and proactive

Schedule:
Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
