Job Title: Bookkeeper – Construction
Office Location: Miami FL 33155 will be moving soon to Doral area to a new 3,000 Sq foot office.
100% in office position- Monday- Friday 8:00 to 5:00 pm
Compensation Range: $44,000 – $50,000 (Based on Experience) Plus a $5K annual bonus at their anniversary.
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our growing commercial general contracting team. This role requires 4+ years of bookkeeping experience within the construction industry and a strong understanding of construction-specific accounting practices.
The ideal candidate will be proficient with SAGE accounting software and skilled at managing all aspects of project financials, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and job cost tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts payable and receivable with accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain and reconcile job cost reports for multiple projects.
• Process payroll and prepare financial reports for management.
• Track project budgets, expenses, and subcontractor payments.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Utilize SAGE software to handle all accounting functions.
• Support the finance team with monthly closings and audits.
Qualifications:
• 4+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably with a commercial general contractor.
• SAGE accounting software proficiency – required.
• Bilingual is a plus (Spanish/English)
• Strong understanding of construction accounting, including job costing and progress billing.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and integrity.
