We are seeking a detail-oriented Full-Cycle Bookkeeper with Washington State payroll experience to support our financial operations. This position requires hands-on involvement with local payroll compliance and close collaboration with internal teams; therefore, local, WA-based candidates are required.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, accurate, and experienced in managing bookkeeping functions for small to mid-sized businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Compile, organize, and reconcile financial data on a regular basis
Prepare, process, and file Washington State payroll, including state taxes and required reports
Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
Maintain general ledger accuracy, including journal entries and adjustments
Generate basic financial reports, including P&L statements, Balance Sheets, and other financial summaries
Support month-end and year-end close activities
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external accountants as needed
Ensure compliance with local, state, and payroll regulations


Required Qualifications

Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting support
Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
Strong knowledge of Washington State payroll, including taxes and reporting
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to accurately compile, analyze, and reconcile financial data
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting tools
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Must be a local Washington State candidate


Preferred Qualifications

Associate degree or coursework in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience supporting small to mid-sized businesses
Familiarity with Washington State labor laws and payroll compliance
