This entry-level position provides hands-on training in a biologics manufacturing environment, requiring adherence to clean room protocols, gowning, and PPE requirements. While this is not a lab role, associates will operate process equipment, prepare buffers/media, monitor processes, and maintain documentation in compliance with cGMP standards.
6 PM – 6 AM schedule with 36–48 hours per week with alternating shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and clean process equipment (valves, hoses, clamps, piping, etc.).
Prepare buffers, media, and reagents up to 2000L.
Monitor process parameters and escalate abnormal conditions.
Maintain accurate, compliant documentation.
Sustain a clean and orderly work environment.
Achieve proficiency in assigned functional areas through training.
Follow all safety protocols, including handling hazardous materials (caustic, acids, steam).
Perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, climbing, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to follow written instructions, verify data, perform basic math, and document results accurately.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Familiarity with computers and web-based applications.
Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to learn.
Ability to work safely in a biologics manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with general chemistry, microbiology, or clean room operations.
