We are seeking a Biomedical Applications Specialist for a direct hire opportunity in San Juan, PR. This role is ideal for a technically skilled customer support professional with experience in biomedical, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, laboratory, or clinical equipment environments.

The Biomedical Applications Specialist will support equipment validation, user training, technical service calls, and post-installation customer follow-up. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with customers, service technicians, and internal leadership while contributing to high-quality technical support and excellent client care.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the validation of equipment methods in accordance with established procedures, manufacturer standards, and applicable regulations.
- Contact and visit customers after equipment installations to confirm proper operation and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Respond to service calls requiring specialized technical knowledge of biomedical or laboratory equipment.
- Provide user training on equipment operation in alignment with manufacturer guidelines and quality expectations.
- Test new, remanufactured, loaner, repaired, and training equipment before installation, return, or use.
- Prepare daily reports detailing completed activities, customer interactions, service support, and follow-up actions.

Compensation and Benefits

- Direct hire opportunity.
- Salary range: $49,000 to $51,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support validation activities for biomedical, laboratory, or technical equipment.
- Provide equipment training to users and assist with proper operation after installation.
- Perform technical testing on new, repaired, loaner, and training equipment.
- Assist customers and internal service teams with specialized technical support needs.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in biomedical applications, technical customer service, field support, laboratory equipment support, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or a related technical environment.
- Ability to follow validation procedures, technical standards, manufacturer instructions, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally, clearly, and courteously with clients.
- Ability to prepare accurate daily activity reports and maintain organized service documentation.
- Hands-on technical aptitude for testing, verifying, and supporting equipment performance.
- Ability to train users and explain technical concepts in a practical, understandable manner.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to support and guide service technicians as needed.
- Professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality internal and external customer service.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with biomedical, diagnostic, laboratory, clinical, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical equipment.
- Familiarity with equipment validation, method validation, quality procedures, or regulated technical environments.
- Experience preparing aliquots or supporting laboratory-related technical processes.
- Bilingual communication skills may be helpful for customer interaction in Puerto Rico.
