Billing & Collections Specialist – Sylmar, CA
(Bilingual Spanish Preferred)
Schedule & Pay:
Full-time, Monday–Friday, on-site in Sylmar, CA
Competitive hourly rate: $30.00-$32.00
We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing & Collections Specialist to join our team in Sylmar, CA. This role combines strong customer service skills with experience in billing, accounts receivable, and collections.
Responsibilities:
Manage billing processes and ensure accuracy of invoices
Handle collections in a professional and customer-focused manner
Maintain and update customer accounts
Communicate with clients regarding balances and payment arrangements
Provide excellent customer service while resolving billing inquiries
Support the accounting team with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Previous experience in billing, collections, or accounts receivable (non-medical)
Strong customer service and communication skills
Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with accounting software a plus
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
