Billing and Invoicing:
• Prepare, review, and submit service billings.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure accurate and timely billing based on contract terms.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments and address client billing inquiries.
Accounting Support:
• Reconcile accounts receivable and project billing records.
• Assist in collections of accounts receivable.
• Assist in accounts payable
Compliance and Reporting:
• Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations related to construction billing and accounting.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to address discrepancies or billing concerns.
Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (not required)
• Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in billing and accounting support.
• Advanced knowledge of construction accounting software
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
