AppleOne has partnered with a client in Irvine needing a Billing Specialist with construction/AIA experience.
This role is responsible for preparing accurate, timely invoices and supporting the billing process across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit AIA billings, including G702/G703 and lien waivers
Review contracts, change orders, and project documentation to ensure accurate billing
Coordinate with project managers to track job costs, percent complete, and billing schedules
Ensure compliance with contract terms, retainage, and client requirements
Maintain organized billing records and support audits or client inquiries
Qualifications:
Prior experience in construction billing with strong AIA billing knowledge
Familiarity with contracts, change orders, and progress billing
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Proficiency with accounting or construction management software (e.g., Sage, Viewpoint, Procore, or similar)
