Billing Specialist – Professional Services – San Juan, PR

Summary:
The Billing Specialist is responsible for processing, reviewing, and submitting accurate service invoices, including electronic billing. This role ensures compliance with client requirements and internal billing policies, supporting timely collections and financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and submit service invoices (manual and electronic) in compliance with client guidelines.
• Manage billing adjustments (write-ups/write-downs) and special billing formats (split or consolidated).
• Track invoice rejections, correct errors, and follow up until payment is received.
• Maintain billing database and update client billing agreements and rate changes.
• Generate billing reports and participate in month-end, year-end, and fiscal closings.
• Collaborate with internal teams and ensure data accuracy before final invoice submission.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Accounting, Finance, or Management preferred).
• Prior experience in service-based billing (non-medical).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and accounting softwares.
• Fully bilingual (English and Spanish, verbal and written).
• Strong attention to detail, urgency, and confidentiality.
• Availability for overtime during closing periods.
• Ability to analyze accounts, detect discrepancies, and prepare Excel reports.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (onsite, 1-hour lunch).
