We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing & Collections Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Pico Rivera, CA. This role is ideal for an accounting, finance, or accounts receivable professional who enjoys managing invoices, resolving billing issues, and maintaining positive customer relationships.
The Billing & Collections Specialist will assist with ensuring timely billing, accurate account records, and effective collections follow-up. Key Responsibilities
- Process, review, and distribute customer invoices accurately and on schedule.
- Follow up on outstanding customer balances and support timely collections.
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and account questions.
- Maintain accurate accounts receivable records and customer account documentation.
- Prepare aging reports, collection updates, and related billing reports for review.
- Communicate professionally with customers and internal teams to resolve issues and support positive business relationships.
Compensation and Benefits
- $28.00 to $30.00 per hour.
- Temp-to-hire opportunity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of billing, collections, or accounts receivable experience required.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP software required.
- Accurate data entry skills and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work professionally with customers and internal teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to research and resolve account issues.
- Ability to stay organized, meet deadlines, and manage multiple account priorities in a fast-paced environment.
