Billing Clerk (Temp-to-Perm)
Bakersfield, CA 93313
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18–$20/hour
Reports To: AR Supervisor
We are currently seeking a Billing Clerk for a temp-to-perm opportunity with a stable and growing company in the construction industry. This position offers full-time hours and long-term potential for the right candidate. If you’re detail-oriented, organized, and have strong billing and customer service skills, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and maintain construction projects for multiple legal entities in ERP system
Generate daily and weekly customer billing
Upload billing to customer ERP portals
Monitor customer invoice approvals and rejections
Work with internal and external customers to resolve billing issues
Communicate with customers regarding outstanding invoices and approvals
Accurately calculate and verify sales tax
Scan and attach supporting documents to transactions
Audit system entries for documentation accuracy
Requirements:
Must have at least 2 years of recent experience
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to navigate and work across multiple systems
Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs
