Billing Clerk

Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Billing Clerk to join our team in Bakersfield. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity offering a consistent weekday schedule and a competitive hourly wage. Key Responsibilities:
Set up and maintain construction projects for multiple legal entities in the ERP system
Generate daily and weekly customer billings
Upload invoices to customer ERP systems
Monitor customer invoice approvals and rejections
Resolve billing discrepancies with internal teams and customers
Communicate with customers regarding invoice approvals and outstanding balances
Calculate and verify applicable sales tax on invoices
Scan and attach supporting documentation to billing entries
Audit system entries for completeness and accuracy
Perform additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Must have at least 2 years of billing or accounting experience preferred
Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment
