We’re looking for a detail-focused and proactive Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team and support our financial operations.
What You’ll Do
- Generate and process accurate customer invoices based on shipment data, purchase orders, and contract terms
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances
- Reconcile billing discrepancies and collaborate with internal teams (operations, customer service, sales) to resolve issues
- Apply customer payments and maintain up-to-date records in the ERP/accounting system
- Prepare weekly/monthly AR reports to support financial planning
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding billing questions, payment status, and account updates
- Assist with month-end close tasks related to revenue and AR
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or related accounting role
- Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or manufacturing preferred
- Strong understanding of invoicing practices, accounting principles, and AR processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, etc.)
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines
