Job Title: Bilingual Human Resources (HR) Specialist
Location: Richgrove, CA - onsite
Full-Time | Direct Hire
Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Travel: Required to 4 local sites (must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record)

About the Role:
Our Client is seeking a Bilingual HR Specialist (Spanish/English) with strong human resources experience and a hands-on approach to support our cold storage and farming operations. This role requires a confident, field-ready professional who is comfortable traveling between multiple locations, conducting investigations, and supporting all HR-related functions including workers’ compensation, FMLA, employee relations, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the on-site HR representative across four locations, providing direct support to employees and supervisors.
Conduct thorough workers’ compensation investigations and follow-up documentation.
Assist with FMLA, leave of absence tracking, and compliance with labor laws.
Support employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
Translate and communicate HR policies and procedures in both English and Spanish.
Prepare reports, write correspondence, and maintain compliance documentation.
Partner with leadership to ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures.
Perform other HR duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Bilingual in Spanish and English (read, write, and speak fluently).
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field or SHRM certification required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar HR role, preferably in agriculture, manufacturing, or cold storage environments.
Strong knowledge of California labor laws, FMLA, and workers’ compensation procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Stable work history with no significant employment gaps or job-hopping.
Work Environment:
Cold storage and agricultural field settings.
Must be comfortable working in varying temperatures and walking production or field sites.
