We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join our Medical Processing Department. In this role, you will perform various administrative tasks under the direction of the supervisor to help facilitate the movement of medical cases. You will act as a liaison with Spanish-speaking clients to schedule radiologic exams and pulmonary function tests, prepare form letters following established protocols, and download and process reports from an outside vendor. Additionally, you will maintain inventory, manage expert binder packets, and place record orders with Pike and RecordTrak, among other administrative duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will have experience with medical records and billing, along with excellent communication skills. An accurate typing speed of 30-40 WPM and familiarity with WordPerfect, Acrobat, Excel, Word, and database programs are preferred. The ability to juggle multiple tasks and stay organized while meeting deadlines is essential. Strong communication skills are required, especially in maintaining a professional demeanor when interacting with staff, attorneys, and external facilities, all while ensuring confidentiality. A keen attention to detail, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are key to success in this role.
