We are seeking a Bilingual Sanitation Supervisor for a direct hire, 3rd shift opportunity in Oxnard, CA within a food and beverage production environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on sanitation leader who can guide a team, maintain food safety standards, and ensure the facility is cleaned, sanitized, and ready for production.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coordinate, and assign daily sanitation activities to ensure equipment, production areas, utensils, floors, walls, and facility surfaces are cleaned and sanitized on schedule.
- Verify that sanitation procedures are followed, including chemical preparation, equipment washdown, foaming, manual cleaning, tray washing, debris removal, and proper reassembly for production startup.
- Conduct routine inspections during and after sanitation to confirm cleaning effectiveness, identify deficiencies, and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Train, coach, and guide sanitation employees on cleaning procedures, chemical handling, PPE, Lockout/Tagout, food safety, and safe work practices.
- Maintain sanitation records, including Master Sanitation Schedule documentation, daily logs, chemical and supply inventory records, and food safety forms.
- Communicate sanitation, equipment, safety, and food safety concerns to management while supporting audit readiness and continuous improvement.
Compensation and Benefits
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Pay: $70,000 to $75,000 per year, depending on experience.
- Discretionary bonus.
- Schedule: 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM, Monday through Friday.
- Some Saturday overtime may be required based on operational needs.
- Must pass background check and drug screen.
- Lead and supervise daily sanitation operations for a food production facility.
- Plan, prioritize, and verify completion of sanitation work within required timeframes.
- Train and coach sanitation employees on safety, food safety, cleaning methods, and compliance procedures.
- Maintain sanitation documentation and support inspection, verification, and corrective action processes.
- Five or more years of related experience in a similar industry.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills required.
- Ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures, chemical handling, equipment cleaning, food safety requirements, and safe work practices.
- Understanding of Lockout/Tagout requirements and proper PPE use.
- Intermediate computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to read computerized machine panels in English to operate, adjust, or stop equipment properly.
- Intermediate math skills and the ability to complete required documentation accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes, plan staffing needs, and recommend solutions.
- Ability to lead teams, multitask, organize work, communicate effectively, influence others, and remain adaptable in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to work extended shifts of approximately 10 to 12 hours per day and up to six days per week based on business needs.
- Ability to work near moving mechanical parts and in a moderate to loud production environment.
- Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing for long periods, walking, climbing stairs, squatting, bending, sitting, and using hands.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior sanitation leadership experience in food and beverage manufacturing, produce processing, or a similar regulated production environment.
- Experience supporting sanitation audits, quality control sampling, corrective actions, and food safety programs.
- Familiarity with Cal/OSHA requirements, GMP practices, chemical safety, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong track record of building accountable, safety-focused, and high-performing sanitation teams.
