Bilingual Sanitation Supervisor -Key Responsibilities * Lead and supervise the sanitation team and assign daily work. * Ensure production equipment, floors, walls, utensils, and facility areas are properly cleaned and sanitized. * Monitor cleaning activities and inspect areas to ensure sanitation standards are met. * Ensure proper handling, mixing, storage, and use of cleaning chemicals. * Train employees on sanitation procedures, PPE, chemical safety, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO). * Ensure employees follow company safety and food safety procedures. * Maintain sanitation schedules, daily logs, chemical inventory, and other required records. * Identify sanitation, food safety, and safety issues and ensure corrective actions are completed. * Support food safety audits, inspections, and quality control activities. * Provide coaching and feedback to sanitation employees regarding performance, attendance, and training needs. * Promote teamwork, accountability, and a safe work environment. * Identify opportunities to improve sanitation processes, productivity, safety, and efficiency. * Follow all company policies and applicable food safety and Cal/OSHA requirements. * Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
**Pay:** $70,000–$75,000/year DOE
**Shift:** 7:00 PM–5:00 AM, Monday–Friday, Some Saturdays may be required for overtime.
About the Position
We are looking for an experienced **Bilingual Sanitation Supervisor** to lead our sanitation team in a food manufacturing environment. This role will oversee daily sanitation activities and ensure the facility meets all food safety, sanitation, quality, and employee safety standards.
Qualifications
* **5+ years of related sanitation or food manufacturing experience.**
* **High school diploma or equivalent required.**
* **Bilingual English/Spanish required.**
* Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
* Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
* Experience with chemical handling and equipment sanitation.
* Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and workplace safety procedures.
* Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
* Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team.
* Basic to intermediate computer skills, including **Excel, Word, and Outlook**.
* Ability to read and operate computerized equipment panels in English.
* Strong communication and decision-making skills.
## Physical Requirements
* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
* Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs, and work around production equipment.
* Ability to lift and/or move up to **50 lbs.**
* Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with moving equipment and moderate to loud noise.
* Ability to work extended shifts and occasional Saturdays as needed.
