Position: Bilingual English/Spanish Receptionist (East Memphis)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire Position Available
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Schedule:
• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Half-day every other month on a Saturday
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, mature, and outgoing bilingual (English/Spanish) Medical Receptionist to join a busy and fast-paced private ophthalmology practice. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable multitasking, and able to provide excellent patient service while supporting daily front office operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Perform patient check-in and check-out procedures
• Verify insurance eligibility and coverage
• Process patient payments and post transactions accurately
• Reconcile and close out end-of-day receipts
• Manage incoming and outgoing referrals
• Provide general front desk and administrative support
• Other related duties as assigned
Requirements
• Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
• 2 years medical front desk/receptionist experience required
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong multitasking and communication skills
• Professional, dependable, and patient-focused demeanor
