Job Summary

We are seeking a Bilingual Mandarin Marketing Manager for a direct hire opportunity in the fast-moving consumer goods and food and beverage production industry. This role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on brand marketing leader who can build culturally relevant campaigns, guide product launches, and expand consumer engagement across diverse markets.

This opportunity offers a highly attractive 10-month remote onboarding period before transitioning on-site to the City of Industry, CA area. The role provides the ability to make a meaningful impact on brand growth, market positioning, and consumer reach while working with collaborative cross-functional teams across marketing, sales, product, supply chain, and agency partners.

The ideal candidate brings strong Mandarin and English fluency, proven FMCG marketing experience, and the ability to combine creative storytelling with data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute brand marketing strategies, go-to-market plans, and consumer engagement initiatives for diverse customer segments.
- Lead 360-degree marketing campaigns across digital, social media, influencer partnerships, localized print, trade marketing, and retail channels.
- Manage new product introduction and product lifecycle initiatives in partnership with sales, R&D, supply chain, and other internal teams.
- Analyze consumer insights, competitor activity, market trends, pricing, and positioning to identify growth opportunities.
- Localize brand messaging and marketing assets with cultural nuance and professional fluency in both Mandarin and English.
- Oversee external creative, PR, and media buying partners while managing budgets and measuring ROI.

Compensation and Benefits

- Direct hire, full-time opportunity.
- Salary range: $140,000 to $160,000 per year, based on experience.
- Remote for the first 10 months, then on-site in City of Industry, CA thereafter.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Lead brand strategy, go-to-market planning, and cross-cultural consumer marketing campaigns.
- Manage product launches, product lifecycle initiatives, and cross-functional marketing execution.
- Analyze market intelligence, consumer insights, and competitive trends to guide marketing decisions.
- Manage agency relationships, marketing budgets, campaign performance, and ROI tracking.

- Professional or native-level fluency in Mandarin and English, written and spoken, is required.
- 5+ years of progressive marketing experience within the FMCG sector is required.
- Direct food and beverage marketing experience is strongly aligned with this role.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, SEO/SEM, social commerce, influencer marketing, and retail marketing channels.
- Experience using market data, consumer insights, and performance metrics to guide campaign strategy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is required.
- Ability to work independently during the remote period and transition successfully into a collaborative on-site environment.
- Strong communication, leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- MBA preferred but not required.
- Experience with Nielsen, IRI, SPINS, or similar retail syndication and consumer insights platforms.
- Background in personal care or household goods may also be considered.
- Experience managing external creative, PR, influencer, or media buying agencies.
- Prior success building culturally relevant campaigns for bilingual or multicultural consumer audiences.
