We are seeking a Bilingual Mandarin Accounting Clerk for a direct hire opportunity in La Puente, CA with an automotive and parts manufacturing organization. Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoices, vendor payments, expense reports, and customer balances.
- Perform bank reconciliations by comparing financial statements with general ledger activity and researching discrepancies.
- Enter and code financial transactions accurately in bookkeeping software, ensuring proper account classification.
- Assist with month-end and year-end reporting, including support for balance sheets, income statements, and related financial documents.
- Maintain organized physical and digital accounting records and prepare documentation needed for audits.
- Handle confidential financial information with integrity, discretion, and professionalism.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on time.
- Support bank reconciliations, general ledger accuracy, and discrepancy resolution.
- Assist with financial data entry, account coding, reporting, and audit documentation.
- Maintain organized accounting records and confidential financial files.

- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or accounts receivable experience.
- Bilingual Mandarin required.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong math skills and a high level of accuracy when reviewing financial data.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve numerical errors.
- Professional communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive company and client information confidentially.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage records, deadlines, and routine accounting tasks.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing, automotive, parts, distribution, or inventory-driven business environment.
- Familiarity with month-end close support, financial reporting, and audit preparation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, customers, and internal teams in both Mandarin and English.
