Seeking a Bilingual Legal Investigator to support complex civil litigation, including asbestos and silicosis cases. This role involves conducting interviews, performing detailed investigations, reviewing records, and preparing written summaries that support attorneys and case teams. The ideal candidate is confident, detail-oriented, and comfortable speaking with clients and witnesses about sensitive and complex matters.

This is a REMOTE position for candidates residing in California.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct interviews with potential clients and witnesses related to asbestos, silicosis, workers’ compensation, and civil litigation matters
• Prepare clear, detailed memoranda summarizing interviews and investigative findings
• Review and summarize records such as employment, Social Security, military, business, property, and deposition transcripts
• Perform internet and database research on defendants, jobsites, and potential witnesses
• Locate and contact potential witnesses; conduct cold calls and follow-up interviews
• Assist with preparing declarations, letters, and investigative documentation
• Code and enter investigative data accurately into firm databases
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and investigators while maintaining strict confidentiality
• Occasionally travel for document productions or in-person interviews

Qualifications:
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3–5 years of experience in investigations, research, interviewing, legal support, or construction trades
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Comfortable discussing complex and emotionally sensitive topics
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
• Proficient with databases, email, internet research, and timekeeping systems
• Confident, inquisitive, and able to conduct interviews with unfamiliar individuals
