Are you a detail-oriented legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We’re seeking a Bilingual Legal Assistant to support a busy practice focused primarily on litigation, with some exposure to immigration matters. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work and wants to grow within the legal field.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys in litigation matters
Prepare, format, and file legal documents with courts (state and federal)
Manage case files, calendars, and deadlines
Communicate with clients in both English and Spanish
Assist with discovery, document organization, and case preparation
Support immigration case processing as needed (forms, documentation, follow-ups)
Qualifications:
Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
Previous experience in a legal assistant or legal administrative role
Familiarity with litigation processes and legal terminology
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Nice to Have:
Experience with immigration law (not required, but a plus)
Knowledge of court filing systems and case management software
