Bilingual Legal Assistant (English/Spanish)

Location: Greenville, SC
Compensation: $18–$25 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Bilingual Legal Assistant to join our growing law practice in Greenville, South Carolina. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Spanish and have experience supporting attorneys in litigation, personal injury, and immigration matters. This role requires strong organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities
Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys in litigation, personal injury, and immigration cases
Draft, review, and file legal documents and correspondence
Communicate with clients in English and Spanish, both in person and by phone/email
Maintain and organize case files (physical and electronic)
Schedule appointments, hearings, and deadlines
Assist with intake, discovery, and trial preparation
Coordinate with courts, government agencies, and opposing counsel

Qualifications
Fluent in English and Spanish (required)
Prior experience as a legal assistant or paralegal preferred
Familiarity with litigation, personal injury, and/or immigration law
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software
