We are seeking a highly organized and culturally fluent Bilingual Administrative & Purchasing Liaison to serve as the vital link between our US-based technical teams and our parent company in Japan. This is a multifaceted role designed for a professional who thrives at the intersection of administrative excellence, technical translation, and specialized purchasing management. You will act as the primary operational engine for our Technical and Auto Parts QA departments, ensuring seamless synergy between our Georgia plant and international stakeholders. Key Responsibilities International Liaison: Serve as the lead conduit between local technical teams and the Japanese parent company. You will translate and interpret complex technical documents, emails, and high-level meetings. Purchasing & Logistics: Independently manage purchasing operations for the QA departments. This includes negotiating contracts with third-party labor, overseeing invoice processing, and leading international logistics for competitor tire procurement. Executive Coordination: Host and coordinate visits for international vendors and expatriates. You will manage sensitive project communications and facilitate customer-facing document approvals. Quality & Audit Support: Provide critical administrative support during international audits and assist quality engineering teams with IATF 16949/ISO 9001 documentation and compliance. Global Mobility: Participate in occasional international travel (Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia) to support onsite meetings and audits. Qualifications Linguistic Mastery: Fluent, professional-level proficiency in both Japanese and English (written and oral). You must be comfortable translating nuanced technical content accurately. Industry Expertise: A working understanding of automotive quality systems and purchasing workflows. Administrative Tech Stack: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word). Elite Professionalism: Exceptional discretion when handling confidential projects, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Education & Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field. Technical Translation: 5+ years of experience interpreting technical content specifically within the tire or automotive industry. Operational Experience: 5–10 years of professional experience in purchasing or high-level administrative operations. Why Join Us?
