Seeking a Bilingual Benefits Representative to make a meaningful impact by helping members navigate their health benefits. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for participants and providers, ensuring they receive accurate information and support for benefits eligibility, claims issues, and coverage questions. You’ll also play an active role in employee education and open enrollment events.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary contact for participant and provider inquiries about health benefits
• Verify eligibility, explain plan benefits, and assist with claims resolution
• Prepare and distribute correspondence, maintaining detailed documentation of interactions
• Educate participants on cost-saving health plan features and encourage in-network utilization
• Coordinate benefit packet distribution and assist with open enrollment presentations
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Support team projects and contribute to process improvements
Qualifications:
• AA degree or 3–5 years of relevant work experience
• Spanish bilingual required
• Strong customer service skills and professional phone etiquette
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related software
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and stay organized
