Construction Bid Manager
If you thrive in the preconstruction arena—shaping budgets, driving design alignment, and leading competitive bid strategies—you’ll fit right in. This is an opportunity to influence high-impact, complex projects from the very first sketch through contract award, working with world-class teams and shaping landmark builds.
This role is based in Miami, FL with short-term travel to the U.S. Virgin Islands for initial projects.
What You’ll Do
Lead multiple preconstruction efforts from concept through contract and project handoff
Partner closely with business development, estimating, design, scheduling, and field teams to ensure resources align with project needs
Attend and engage in OAC and design coordination meetings; provide feedback on cost, schedule, and constructability
Develop and review estimates, schedules, value engineering ideas, site logistics, and construction methods
Monitor design progress to flag cost and constructability issues early; coordinate RFIs and design clarifications
Evaluate subcontractor scopes, level bids, negotiate proposals, and recommend award strategy
Support contract development once scope, pricing, and schedule are established
Propose self-perform opportunities when beneficial
Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors throughout the preconstruction phase
What You Bring
10+ years of construction experience (South Florida or Caribbean experience strongly preferred)
5+ years in a similar preconstruction/bid management role for major building projects
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
Proven experience working with top-tier architects and design teams
Strong technical ability—able to read drawings/specs and collaborate across disciplines
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, multicultural environment
Why This Role
Lead exciting, high-profile projects
Work with diverse, talented teams across regions
Influence cost, design, and strategy at the highest level
Grow your career while building meaningful, lasting structures
