Position Overview:
As a Benefits Counselor, you'll be the voice on the line helping individuals understand, enroll in, and troubleshoot their employee benefits. Whether it’s answering questions, guiding website navigation, or making a follow-up call, you’ll be at the heart of a meaningful mission: simplifying healthcare and insurance benefits for those who need it.
Remote Role – Only Open to Florida & Georgia Residents
3+ Month Contract | August Start – Through December 31st
Pay Rate:
$16.50/hour
$17.33/hour for Bilingual Candidates (Spanish/English preferred)
Schedule Requirements:
Must be available Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM CST
Overtime required October–December, including some Saturdays
No planned time off permitted in Q4 (Oct–Dec)
Training: 3 weeks of classroom learning + 1 week of nesting
8:45 AM – 5:30 PM EST, Monday–Friday
What You’ll Do:
Support customers via inbound calls (some outbound follow-up)
Answer questions about benefits plans and enrollment
Troubleshoot basic website issues
Help users navigate complex information clearly and confidently
Multitask across multiple systems in a high-volume environment
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum: 2 years of combined customer service & office experience
Preferred: 2 years of college + contact center experience
Clear communicator who can simplify complex ideas
Tech-savvy enough to troubleshoot basic IT issues (cache, cookies, clicks)
Calm under pressure and adaptable to change
Remote Work & Tech Requirements:
Minimum internet speed: 50 MBPS (no shared streaming/gaming)
Private workspace (free from distractions or others)
Camera on for meetings and huddles
No cell phone use during work hours
Teams (chat) must be active and open during your shift
