We are looking for Benefits Counselors who are passionate about helping others, thrive in fast-paced environments, and can deliver exceptional support with professionalism and empathy. This is a remote opportunity for candidates located in Florida or Georgia, with an August start date and a contract running through the end of the year.
As a Benefits Counselor, you will assist customers with account inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide clear guidance and support. You'll be a key part of a team focused on delivering quality service to individuals navigating essential services.
Remote (Florida / Georgia)
Temp position (August – December)
$16.50 USD per hour (English only)
$17.00 USD per hour (English & Spanish bilingual)
Monday–Friday
6:00 AM – 8:00 PM CST
Overtime required in October, including some Saturdays
No time off allowed October through December
3 weeks of training plus 1 week of nesting
Training schedule: 8:45 AM – 5:30 PM EST, Monday–Friday
Responsibilities:
Handle inbound calls
Assist customers with service-related questions, billing issues, and general account support
Troubleshoot basic website navigation and technical issues (browser, cache, logins)
Communicate complex information in a simple, confident, and empathetic way
Navigate multiple systems simultaneously while maintaining quality and accuracy
Provide high-level customer service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of combined customer service and office experience
Contact center background and/or at least 2 years of college
Excellent verbal communication and listening skills
Calm under pressure with strong multitasking abilities
Tech-savvy and able to resolve basic IT issues
Reliable internet (at least 50 MBPS, no shared streaming/gaming)
Quiet, distraction-free workspace
Camera must be on during meetings and daily huddles
No cell phone use during working hours
Microsoft Teams must remain active and open during the shift
